The SIONYX Nightwave D1 is a fixed-mount marine night vision camera built for boaties who need to see what is ahead of the bow after dark. It is an ultra low-light marine navigational camera built around SIONYX's patented Black Silicon CMOS sensor, allowing mariners of all levels to easily spot obstacles and debris in moonless starlight without white light or expensive thermal cameras. It integrates directly into your existing MFD or streams to a phone or tablet, so you can run it from the helm or from anywhere on the vessel.

Ultra Low-Light Detection: The XQE1350 Black Silicon BSI CMOS sensor images in less than 1 millilux of moonless starlight, and features a 44-degree horizontal field of view and images in less than 1 millilux moonless starlight, allowing you to view a man-sized object at 150 metres in extreme low-light conditions. That means you can pick up a swimmer, a pot buoy or an unlit marker well before it becomes a problem, without needing to run a spotlight that kills your own night vision.

Wide Situational Awareness: A 16mm f/1.4 lens with a 1280 x 1024 resolution sensor running at a 30Hz frame rate and a 44° horizontal field of view gives you a stable, wide picture of the water ahead rather than a narrow tunnel view. The camera focuses from 10 metres to infinity, so both close-in hazards and distant markers stay usable in the frame.

Flexible Video Output: Analog video output runs in NTSC through SMA, BNC or RCA connections , which is how the Nightwave talks to most branded MFDs on the market. For times you are away from the helm, wireless communication is via WiFi and Bluetooth , letting you pull up live colour night vision on a phone or tablet through the SIONYX app, and the camera can be powered with 12V DC or USB power, with the preferred video output selected using the SIONYX App.

Built for the Marine Environment: The housing carries an IP67 ingress protection rating, and is rated to IEC60945 for shock and vibration (V15G | H:9G) and IK08, with an operating temperature range of -20°C to +50°C and a storage temperature range of -20°C to +80°C. Dry nitrogen is purged into the housing during manufacture to prevent lens fogging, so you can safely use Nightwave in inclement weather conditions.

Mounting Flexibility: The dome can be permanently mounted to a flat surface, ball up or ball down, using the included mounting template and hardware, or temporarily mounted with a 1/4"-20 mount interface for use with standard mounts. A bulkhead mounting option with M6 blind holes is also built into the base, so you can fit the Nightwave to suit the deck layout of most vessels.
