Guide TU435LS Thermal Scope with LRF

The Guide TU435LS Thermal Scope with LRF is the top of the TU 3.0 Series, pairing a 1800m detection range with a built-in laser rangefinder that reads to 1200m. Ranging through the scope means no fumbling for a separate unit and no losing your target while you find it again. For anyone shooting past a couple of hundred metres, that number in the eyepiece is what turns a guess into a hold.

Detection to 1800 metres, ranging to 1200

A 400x300 detector on a 12um pitch behind a 35mm lens gives 1800m of detection. Magnification runs 4.2x to 16.8x with a field of view of about 14 x 10m at 100 metres, wide enough to hold context while still carrying reach. The integrated rangefinder returns a distance out to 1200m, so you can range a pig on a far bank and adjust before the shot instead of after it.

Fifteen millikelvin when the ground has gone cold

NETD of 15mK means the sensor picks apart very small temperature differences. That is exactly what you need at three in the morning when the paddock, the timber and the animal have all cooled toward the same temperature and a less sensitive scope shows you grey soup. The detector spans 8 to 14um at 50Hz, with the APEXVISION imaging system doing the processing.

A 2560x2560 display and no calibration blink

The 1.03-inch AMOLED runs 2560x2560, a big step up from the standard displays in this class and the reason fine detail actually reaches your eye. The shutterless design means no periodic freeze while the sensor recalibrates, so the picture stays live through a moving shot. Seven palettes are selectable, and dioptre adjusts -5 to +5.

Fourteen hours out and sealed to IP68

Two internal 18650 cells give 14 hours of run time, with a third 18650 carried externally for a full night and then some. Charging and data run over USB-C. The scope measures 420x89x80mm and weighs 875g, rated IP68 and working from -20C to 50C. Dual-band Wi-Fi, video and audio recording let you save footage for property records. A quick release mount is included, torqued to 2.5N.m or 22.13 in-lbs.
