Guide TB650S Thermal Clip-On

The Guide TB650S Thermal Clip-On is built for hunters who want a serious 640 class thermal in front of their day scope without upsetting how the rifle handles. It mounts ahead of your existing optic, so your zero, reticle and holds all carry over unchanged. At 485g and 139 x 86 x 79mm it keeps the weight close and the balance natural.

Reach out to 2600 metres on open country

The 640x512 detector at 12µm pitch works behind a 50mm objective for a 2600m detection range and a 8.8° x 6.6° field of view. That combination favours reach and image scale over width, which is what you want across paddocks, cleared ridges and station country rather than in tight timber.

Image processing that earns its keep in poor conditions

NETD is rated at 15mK over the 8 to 14µm band at 50Hz. A low NETD means the sensor resolves smaller temperature differences, so animals still stand out once the ground has cooled and contrast has flattened. On top of that, Guide layers Hyper-Light image enhancement, G-Zero shutterless operation so there is no calibration pause mid-stalk, and intelligent image optimisation for dust, humidity and light mist.

Ranging and a display that keeps the detail

An in-lens laser rangefinder gives you distance through the same optical path you are aiming with, so there is no offset between what you range and what you see. The 0.39-inch AMOLED runs 1920 x 1080 at native 1x magnification, so your day scope still sets the magnification. Seven palettes are on board, from White Hot and Black Hot to Iron Red, Blue Hot and Sepia.

Runs on batteries you can actually replace

A single replaceable 18650 battery gives roughly 5 hours of use, and swapping a spare in the dark beats fighting with a cable and a power bank. USB-C covers power and data, and video recording, audio recording and a Wi-Fi hotspot are built in. The housing is IP68 rated and works from -20°C to 50°C.
