Guide TJ420 Thermal Monocular
The Guide TJ420 Thermal Monocular is a handheld thermal imager built for hunters, pest controllers and property owners who need to see clearly after dark without carrying a full rifle-mounted setup. It pairs a 400×300 thermal sensor with a 25mm lens and a Full HD AMOLED display, and adds photo and video recording, Wi-Fi streaming and IP67 sealing for use in the paddock or the bush. It is light enough to carry all night and tough enough to leave in the ute.
Clear Thermal Detail in Low Light:
The 400×300@12μm VOx detector delivers a NETD of 25mK at a 50Hz frame rate
, which means it picks up the subtle heat difference between a feral animal and the surrounding paddock, scrub or water, even on a still, cold night when contrast is hardest to find.
Long-Range Spotting:
The 25mm F1.0 objective lens gives an 11°×8.2° field of view, a 19×14m field of view at 100m, and 3.04x to 12.16x magnification

Recording and Connectivity:
Photo and video recording with audio is stored on 32GB of internal memory, and the unit connects over 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi with a USB-C interface, plus a built-in microphone, compass, gyroscope and Bluetooth
. That lets you pull footage straight off the device or stream to a phone without plugging in a cable in the dark.
All-Night Runtime and Weatherproofing:
Two replaceable 18650 batteries give 12 hours of operating time, and the unit is rated to an operating temperature of -20°C to 50°C with IP67 encapsulation
. Carrying a spare set of 18650 cells means you are never stuck mid-shift with a flat monocular, and the sealing shrugs off rain, dust and a dunking in a puddle.
