The HIKMICRO Thunder TX70CL 4.0 is the flagship model in the Thunder 4.0 clip-on range, built for hunters and pest controllers who need to identify feral animals at genuine long range without giving up their day scope setup. It mounts in front of your existing riflescope and turns it into a thermal sight, pairing a high-resolution detector with a laser rangefinder built into the lens itself. It is the top model in the Thunder 4.0 clip-on range, with a 1280x1024, 12μm sensor with NETD below 12mK and 70mm F1.3 lens that reach a detection range of 3500m, and it is recommended for day scopes of 1-15x magnification.

High-Resolution Thermal Imaging: With a detection range of up to 3,500 metres and thermal sensitivity below 12 mK, the TX70CL can reveal subtle temperature differences even in challenging conditions, and the 70 mm F1.3 objective lens provides excellent long-range detection capabilities, while the field of view of 22.4 x 18.0 metres at 100 metres offers a useful overview of the surrounding area. In practice this means you can pick out a pig or fox against cold paddock grass well before it clocks you, and still read enough detail to confirm the target before you commit to a shot.

Integrated Laser Rangefinding: The HIKMICRO Thunder 4.0 TX70CL features an integrated laser rangefinder (LRF) with a measuring range of 10 to 1,200 metres. Because the rangefinder sits inside the lens assembly rather than bolted on top, you get an accurate read on distance without adding bulk to the front of your rifle, which matters when you are already carrying a day scope, torch and sling swivel out on the ute at night.

Full HD Viewing with Low Lag: The 1920x1080 0.49-inch OLED display works with Image Pro 4.0, the HIKMICRO Shutterless Image System and Sync Pro for clear, low-lag viewing. The zeroing-free design with 1 MOA adjustments keeps setup simple, so you can clip it on, flick it on and get straight to glassing instead of re-zeroing a second optic.

Long Runtime and Onboard Storage: The HIKMICRO Thunder 4.0 TX70CL is supplied with two replaceable, rechargeable lithium-ion battery packs, each providing at least five hours of operation under specified test conditions, and with 64 GB of internal storage, the TX70CL can save photos and videos directly to the device. It also supports audio recording and event-triggered video capture, which is handy for keeping a record of pest control work on the property. Connectivity runs over the HIKMICRO Sight app, so you can pull footage off to your phone without pulling a card.

Built for the Paddock and the Bush: Rated to 6000J recoil and IP67, it records to 64GB of internal storage and runs for 5 hours on a rechargeable, replaceable HM-3840DC battery. The maximum operating temperature is +50 °C for the TX70CL 4.0, and it will keep working down to as low as −30 °C, which covers everything from a frosty winter morning to a stinking hot summer night.
