The SIONYX Nightwave D1 is a fixed-mount marine navigational camera for boaties, offshore fishos and professional mariners who need to spot what radar misses in the dark. Flexible mounting and video streaming setups allow seamless integration with major brand MFDs as well as live video on your mobile device, so you can navigate confidently in the dark from any vessel .

Ultra-Low-Light Night Vision: The camera's less than 1 mlx moonless starlight sensitivity lets you see well beyond human eyesight , and it can detect a man-sized object out to 150m with a 1/4 moon . In practice this means you can pick out a swimmer, pot buoy, log or unlit vessel well before it becomes a hazard, without relying on a spotlight that kills your own night vision.

Wide Field of View and Colour Clarity: The XQE1350 BSI CMOS sensor delivers 1280 × 1024 resolution at a 30Hz frame rate through a 16mm F/1.4 lens with a 10m to infinity focus range , while a stable 44° field of view increases situational awareness so you can spot unexpected obstacles, debris, markers and vessels . Flexible Power and Streaming: Powering the camera with 12V DC and using the analog video output is the preferred method for integration with onboard MFD electronics, while USB power is a convenient option if a 12V DC battery is not available . Wireless communications run over WiFi plus Bluetooth , and flexible installation options allow seamless integration with major brand MFDs alongside WiFi video streaming to the SIONYX mobile app , so you can keep an eye on the water from the helm or from a phone or tablet anywhere on board.

Marine-Grade Toughness: The IP67 rating protects against water, sand, salt and dust, with dry nitrogen purged into the housing to prevent lens fogging so you can safely use Nightwave in inclement weather . It carries a shock and vibration rating of IEC60945 (V15G | H:9G) and IK08, runs from -20°C to +50°C, and is built from UV-resistant polycarbonate so it stands up to a season of salt spray and sun on the flybridge.

Practical Mounting on Any Vessel: Nightwave includes a mounting template, attached inside the product packaging, and the necessary hardware for permanent installation , or you can temporarily mount it via the single 1/4" 20 centre mount, with manual vertical tilt adjustment once mounted .
